About Marisol
Marisol Peña is a Mexican-American artist with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in photography from Columbus State University. Her artistic interest lies in the lives of other people and her voyeuristic tendencies allow her to get people to be vulnerable with her and share things they wouldn't normally share in casual conversation. These things are the focal point of Peña's photographic work and enable her to get to know people in a more intimate way. Before working digitally, she worked in 35mm and medium format film for a year. In addition, she acquired a drone in 2017 and began using it to take aerial photos and explore this new method.
